Viewing your Galaxy uses Deuterium

|

Published: Apr 19, 03:25 PM by: Robert ~ Voidhawk

After you log into oGame, you can choose to view the galaxy around you.

You start out looking at your local system, but you can either use the arrow buttons to switch the system (or the galaxy) or punch in specific coordinates you want to view.

Keep in mind that every time you view a galaxy or system, you use 10 Deutrium. This can really eat into your Deutrium supply at the early levels of the game, so be aware.

As you progress onward and upward, spending a couple hundred deutrium to view multiple galaxies and systems isn’t that big of a deal.

OGame Tips Strategy Guide

  1. In the Galaxy screen what does everything mean?
Iíve been able to determine most things but there are numbers sometimes in the actions column that I donít understand, If you put all the information about the galaxy screen in this thread it would help players alot.

    Thanks.

  2. I will be covering the entire Galaxy screen in my upcoming OGame Tips Strategy Guide. You can check this site for updates on when it will be available.

It will cover some of the following Galaxy Screen items: A, M and T symbols, fleet activity, spying, and much more!

  3. Itís probably all been done before, but given the 10D to view galaxies, I found it useful to cut/paste the result from each galaxay report into a separate notes field Ė named appropriately(tagging the colour coding manually) so I could review at leisure and at no cost

  4. I have 85D, and it said to me that if wasn’t enough to see the Galaxy screen. Why?
I remember that some time ago it cost me 10D in deed… but now the price is higher!! Please if anyone knows why…

  5. If you have selected a planet who has no Deut and then choose to go to the galaxy screen it says you do not have enough Deut. Even though your other planets do. Switch to a planet with enough Deut and then start browsing galaxies

  11. Fleet activity (17 mins) means 17 mins ago, (*) means less than 15 mins ago. And by the way i viewed the galaxy view when i just started the game when i had no dueterium.

  13. what ddoes it mean when a player is written in blue on the galaxy screen.

    — blitzkrieg    Mar 4, 02:58 AM    #
  14. The colours:

Red means you cannot attack that player because of newbie protection.

Blue means vacation mode is on.

Yellow means you can attack that player.

  15. The further out a planet is, the more deuterium it gets. In slot one, my synthesizer lvl 10 gets 270/hr and in slot 8, my synthesizer lvl 10 gets 309/hr, using the same amount of energy. Just a random interesting fact.

  16. The amount of deut or energy depends on the temp of a planet. Closer to the sun is hotter so also less deut but more energy from solar plants

    — henk    Jun 26, 11:25 AM    #
  17. Btw, the temperature only affects the solar satellites. Doesnt affect your solar plants
