Gameforge has just launched a new universe.

This one is different from the rest, for several reasons.

1. This universe is open to ANYONE. You just need to be able to read and communicate in English to play.
2. It has a limit of 7500 players.
3. It plays at 400% speed!

Here is the feature list from the prOGame website:

• prOGame is an international OGame speed universe, official language is English.
• You need to get commander to play at the prOGame universe, initial vacation mode can only be removed if your commander is active.
• Official start was November 2nd, 2006 at 6 pm
• Registration opened for everyone at 12 am, this will give you enough time to register, log in and order your Commander.
• Initial vacation mode can’t be deactivated until 6 pm.
• prOGame universe has the quadruple speed compared to a normal universe. For Example: Buildings only need 25% of the standard construction time and fleets are four times faster than normal.
• Your account will be automatically set to vacation mode if your commander expires and will be deleted automatically if you don’t renew it within 3 days.
• The prOGame high-performance server is ready for a maximum of 7500 players!
• Minimum vacation mode time is 12 hours
• The universe will be open for 3 months and will then be resett. (buildings, researches, fleets, scores…) an January 31st, 2007. Your main planet and your account will not be deleted. You may continue playing in the new round.

4. I dont think it sounds that great. I mean you have to pay for a start and then after a while all your stuff gets deleted and you have to start all over again?

   It may give you several chances to be the best but you wont be the best for long because it will be deleted.

   It sounds like a waste of time.

   ps. I couldn’t stand to see my hard work go to waste.

5. Lol no thanks. Though it does sound more fast-paced, the fact that everything gets deleted is a bummer. Would be more appealing if you didn’t have to pay…I’m certainly not gonna pay for something that’s just gonna be deleted at the end of the month.
