Ship Upgrades

When you upgrade the engines on a ship, any ships that are enroute will NOT get the engine upgrades until they dock at a space port (return home). Then they will receive the new ship upgrades.
Upgrading the different weapon technologies (Plasma, Ion, etc) does not affect your ships. The only way to improve a ships attack/defense is to upgrade Weapons, Shields and Armor.

yeah, well, getting esp tech on lvl 30 with IRN on lvl8 and 20 lvl labs everywhere would take… 369 years and 207 days, and would cost 107.374.182.400 Metal536.870.912.000 Crystal 107.374.182.400 Deuterium. I’m getting a one ^^ :lol:
Like on the 100th lvl my RIPs (or Death Stars: dunno how they are called in english [im from ogame.pl]) would Fly x times faster then my BS now. o_O

If I upgrade Impulse engine will the speed of my Cruiser increase? Or can I only increase my speed by upgrading combustion engine? Same thing with Weapons? Can I upgrade Ion to increase my Ion Cannon fire power or Plasma to just increase Plasma Cannon? It would be a cheaper solution once you get past LVL 10 or 11 Weapon Tech

And how long would it take to get the lab20 8times? I think that when we die, our children shall get our accounts =D
Anyway… I play in www.ogame.com.pt and there are so few death stars around the universe one!!! It’s so lamme… lol and you’re already talking about techs on lvl100!! ahah…

Does any one actually know the point of laser past 10 energy past 12 ion past 5 or plasma past 7? I think those are the highest level that you get anything out of them. Anyone know what the point of like Ion tech 8 would be?

I think it would be wiser to increase those points by raising the useful tech’s like drives or weapons/armour/shields etc !!!

on the takana ogame-calc, i punched in lvl 13 energy tech, but it didnt say “useless” in bold red like it does with hyperspace tech 9 or plasma 12 or somethinf like that…. lolz so lvl 99 energy tech wud have a purpose, just not known to us pplz on teh ground/////\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

i get around 500K met a day and 300K cry a day
dont quite know the deut but o well. the point in researching them past the level is for perminant points and when the new ships come out you will be able to get them easyer

Im starting to get 1.2 million metal a day and about 700k crystal, deuterium.. im not sure, maybe 300k?
